Vintage 1930s BUR table lamp Model MATADOR 2768 designed by famous BAUHAUS designer Christian Dell For BUR Bunte & Remmler Lighting Company Germany.
Lamp is in amazing working condition, still with original toggle switch on shade.
Lamp has been fully cleaned, rewired & PAT safety tested ready to go.

As a petroleum lamp manufacturer BuR evolved into a famous producer of first-class lamps in Germany around the turn of the century. In 1962 BuR was sold to Hoffmeister & Sohn KG. BuR manufactured sophisticated luminary programs in Frankfurt & afterwards in Lüdenscheid.
